History
In 1985 Site Services was established by the entrepreneur and businessman Mervyn Wallace whose property acumen became a byword in the Zululand area. Under his direction, Site Services has specialised for 40 years in developments to tenant requirements, primarily for national and international tenants – Clover, Hyundai, Standard Bank, Nashua, Builders Market, Masscash etc. In total Site Services provides a base for 142 local, national and international tenants in properties throughout Richards Bay, Empangeni and the broader Zululand region as well as various mini storage and residential clients.
Hands on management and local knowledge are the bedrock of our management strategy. Using this approach we claim an exceptional standard of both development and ongoing management of buildings focussed on retaining our tenants over many years. Geographic Footprint
Site Service’s hands-on management strategy defines our operations base as no more than a 250km radius from head office at Kuleka Industrial Park in Empangeni. As such we currently own and manage premises in Pietermaritzburg, Melmoth and Mtubatuba; with the bulk of the portfolio in Empangeni and Richards Bay.

Current Developments
Development of multi-tenant Logistical hubs, Industrial Parks and Retail Centres have dominated the past decade with clients ranging from Afrox and Action Bolt to Bears and Mica Hardware.
At present new developments under way include the new transport Hub of Zululand – Maguzulu Park – which already hosts developments to specification for clients such as Unitrans, John Deere (Mascor) and Manline. 8000sqm expansion of Ngoya Park, Alton, Richards Bay and 2500sqm warehouse and 3000sqm yard for Ellerines at MAGUZULU PARK,  Empangeni.
